LIFT: SALINE PIGMENT LIGHTENING AFTERCARE

Please follow the aftercare instructions to prevent infection and maximize lightening results.

Day 1 - 3

Apply LIFT Homecare Wash:

o   With clean hands, apply the LIFT Homecare Wash to a dampened, lint free, non-abrasive cleansing pad.

o   Gently blot the area by padding and lifting, NO RUBBING.

o   Repeat application 4 times daily for the first 3 days after procedure.

o   May use LIFT Homecare Wash and Hyacyn Active Mist during the entire healing process to keep the area clean and disinfected.

o   External use only. Avoid getting into the eye.

For the Rest of the Healing Period:

  • Keep the area clean, dry, and open to air for the first 10 days.

  • Do not pick, scratch, or remove scabs. If the scabs are removed prematurely, it can cause scarring.

  • Once all scabs have naturally fallen off, you may start applying Restorative HA Serum 3 times a day to repair the skin barrier and aid in healing.  You may use Vitamin E oil as an alternative.

  • Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, swimming, hot tub, sauna, and excessive sweating in the gym for the first 4 weeks.

  • Avoid cleansers, makeup, creams, and skincare products on the treated area until fully healed, about 4 weeks.

  • Avoid any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on or near the treated areas.

  • Apply only provider approved aftercare products to the healing area.

It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 6 - 8 full weeks of healing take place before another lightening session can be performed.

Expect visible results in 3 to 8 sessions. How many sessions are needed will depend on how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted and how much needs to be lightened.
