RESILIENCE SCHOLARSHIP
Since May 2023, Six Sigma Beauty has proudly partnered with the Boys and Girls Club to uplift students who exemplify resilience amidst adversity. But this partnership is more than just financial assistance; it's deeply rooted in Trúc’s own life experiences. Growing up with a single mother who worked tirelessly to make ends meet, Trúc understood firsthand the transformative power of education and the importance of community support. She knew that education was a pathway to a brighter future, not just for herself, but for her family as well.
Through the Six Sigma Beauty and Trúc Vuu Resilience Scholarship, Trúc aims to empower the next generation of resilient leaders. Having personally benefited from scholarships throughout her own high school and college journey, she's passionate about paying it forward. This scholarship celebrates individuals who, like Trúc, embrace resilience through self-awareness, mindfulness, self-care, positive relationships, and purpose. It's a testament to her belief in the power of education to create positive change and illuminate a brighter path for our collective future.
Award Amount: $1,000
Number of Recipients: 2
Criteria:
- Two high school seniors who are going into a post-secondary institution, full-time (must provide verification of acceptance)
- Must have current minimum grade B (must provide report card)
- 1 letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor (recommendation may not come from a relative)
- Students may be asked to participate in a personal interview
-Essay: Please write a 1-2 page essay (no more than 600 words) answering the following questions:
What is your most difficult or challenging life experience to date, and how did you overcome it? What advice would you give someone going through similar circumstances or challenges that you have?
